Apron Strings Midwifery, located in New Richmond, WI is owned by Nicole Wocelka, CPM, LM, a fully licensed midwife in Wisconsin with over 20 years in the healthcare industry. She, along with her team, provide compassionate, professional care that supports your pregnancy and parenting dream no matter whether you choose a private home birth, one in our birthing home in New Richmond or one that utilizes our privileges at TruLiving Birth Center in Menomonie, WI. (TruLiving does charge facility fees.)
Community midwifery is about birth and providing care through pregnancy and infancy. It is professional in its practice but does not have to have the traditional professional distance between the caregiver and care receiver.
It is Apron Strings Midwifery’s mission to provide inspiring, intimate, and unfailing support to families on their pregnancy journey through postpartum. We combine natural holistic care with a sense of sisterhood and respectful guidance. We nourish and empower women to be the creative healing force in their own lives, and in all of the lives they touch.
